Graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Yaroslavl State Medical Institute in 1994. He studied at the postgraduate course at the Department of Normal Physiology (1994-1997). Assistant Professor of the Department of Normal Physiology (1997 - 2002), Senior Lecturer (2002 - 2005), Associate Professor of the Department of Normal Physiology (since 2005), Professor of the Department of Normal Physiology with Biophysics (since 2013).

Candidate of Biological Sciences since 1997. Doctor of Biological Sciences since 2012. Author of over 200 scientific publications. Member of the Russian Physiological Society. I.P. Pavlov, the International Organization for the Study of the Brain (IBRO) and the International Psychophysiological Organization (IOP). Successfully performed research work in the field of neurophysiology with the involvement of both international and domestic grants (Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, RFBR). Main areas of scientific interests: neurophysiology, psychophysiology, bioelectrical activity of the brain, infraslow potential oscillations.

Since 2007 - Deputy Head of the International Department, from 2014 to the present - Head of the International Education Department.
